Our riding parties offer an event with a difference;

an experience to remember for both you and your guests.

After the riding section of the party, we offer a catering facility in our specially decorated party room. Children’s pony parties are the perfect way to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion. We have a wide range of carefully selected ponies for the children to both ride and groom. All you have to do is turn up, bring a cake, some party bags and sit back and enjoy the fun!

_DSC6634What do horse riding parties consist of?

    • Intoduction to the basics of riding
    • Gymkhana Games
    • Horse care grooming and learning about ponies (primarily for children’s parties)

  • Catering facility if required. Special dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

All horse riding parties are organised by our experienced instructors, and no prior riding experience is necessary, unless hacking out. All you need to do is turn up and have a great time!

We have 3 different options for children’s birthday parties.

Option 1

1/2 hour riding & 1/2 hour grooming

The children will be divided into two groups. One group will ride whilst the others groom. After half an hour, the groups will swap over.  This option gives the children a ‘taster’ of horses and riding.

This option is ideal for younger children (4-7 years), or those with little or no experience with horses.

Maximum 24 children

Option 2

45 mins ridings and 15 mins grooming

All the children ride together for 45 minutes, then all the children groom for 15 minutes.  This option gives the children a basic introduction to horses and riding.

This option is ideal for older children (8-11 years), with little or no experience with horses, and allows the children to all enjoy together.

Maximum 10 children

Option 3

1 hour riding party

All the children ride together for the full hour.  This option gives the children a more in-depth introduction to horses and riding, or those with previous riding experience, the opportunity to develop their skills.

This option is ideal for children aged 12 and over, or those with previous riding experience.

Maximum 10 children

At the end of the riding section of the party, each child will receive a rosette.
The party will include riding at walk and trot, and may include gymkhana games.

Cost: £34 per pony
